free to askAircon gas refill in Johor Bahru, leak checked first
Because gas that leaks out once will do it again.
What's included
More than just filling it up
Six checks. Skip them and you'll be refilling again.
Pressure read first
We measure what's actually in there before touching it.
Leak test on the system
Gas doesn't get used up. If it's low, it went somewhere.
Joints and flares checked
Most leaks are at the connections, not the pipe itself.
Charged to the right weight
Filled to what the maker specifies, not by guesswork.
Running current checked
A struggling compressor shows up in the amps.
Cooling tested before we go
Temperature measured at the vent, with you watching.
When you need it
Four signs the gas is low
These point at refrigerant, not a dirty filter.
It's trying. There just isn't enough gas to do the work.
Frost on the pipework points straight at low refrigerant.
That's often gas escaping through a small leak.
Same room, same setting, twice the time it used to take.

- Charge weight matched to the system size
- Repair quoted separately if a leak is found
- Every outlet tested once it's back up
How a top up runs
Tested first, then charged
Filling a leaking system is money straight out the window.
Tell us the symptom
Cool not cold, ice on the pipes, or a hiss.

A fixed number for the top up before we come.
Test, then charge
Pressure read, leak checked, then gas goes in.
Tested with you
Vent temperature measured before we pack up.
How much is an aircon gas refill in Johor Bahru?
Wall mounted units start at RM90. Cassette and ducted systems are priced after a leak test, because the charge weight and the pipework behind a ceiling both change the job.
Why does my aircon keep needing gas?
Because refrigerant isn't fuel. A sealed system never uses it up, so if it's low there's a leak somewhere. Topping up without finding that leak means paying for the same gas twice, which is why we test first.
Do I need a top up every year?
No. If a unit needs gas annually, something is leaking and the leak is the actual problem. Anyone selling you a yearly top up as routine maintenance is selling you the same fault over and over.
What gas does my unit take?
Older units run R22, most from the last decade run R410A, and newer ones run R32. They aren't interchangeable. We check the label on the outdoor unit before charging anything.
Will a top up fix my cooling?
If low gas is the cause, yes, and you'll feel it before we leave. If the coil is choked or the compressor is failing, gas won't fix it and we'll tell you that instead of charging you for it.
What if you find a leak?
We tell you where it is and what it costs to fix before doing anything. Small flare leaks are often sorted on the spot. Anything bigger gets quoted, and you decide.
Will you turn up on time?
You pick a slot when you book and the technician arrives inside it. If we're running behind, you hear from us before the slot starts.
Need something else?
Ready when you are
Cool, but never cold?
Tell us what it's doing. We'll test before we fill.
